Hungry For You: An Argeneau Novel by Lynsay Sands

Hungry For YouHungry For You: An Argeneau Novel

Hungry For You by Lynsay Sands was just as awesome as I expected it to be.  I really enjoyed reading this. I really love reading about the Argeneau family and their lives and businesses.  What a rich playground with well developed characters that just pop from the pages and stories that have you laughing and crying and thoroughly enjoying yourself.  This one is about the 3rd Willan sister, Alex and Martine's son Cale.  Alex is trying to start her 2nd restaraunt and has had nothing but problems from day one!  Wrong tiles for the floor, wrong carpenting, wrong paint and even an electrical fire.  Everything was conspiring to make this a complete fiasco.  Alex was stressed and pushed to her limits.  Then her chef up and quits to go to a rival restaraunt only weeks before the opening of the new restaraunt.  In steps Cale.  Totally unprepared but shoved into the job as head chef by Alex's sister Sam, Cale stumbles his way around the kitchen while Alex tries to correct the lastest setback to her plans.  Narrowly avoiding a total ruin of Alex's business Cale manages to convice Alex to let him take over the paperwork and business end of the restaraunts and allow her to go back to cooking which is what she does best.  Attracted to Cale, Alex uses the excuse of him being her employee to keep her distance but even that can't keep the sparks from flying and eventually starting the hotest fire either of them has ever felt! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys laughter, love and oh yes ... immortals.

This vampire has been alone for far too long . . .

As one of the most ancient in the Argeneau clan, Cale Valens has given up on finding a life mate. His friends and family, however, have not. In fact, they believe they've finally found his perfect match. Getting them together, however, requires one little white lie . . .

Alexandra Willan is in a panic. Her restaurant is due to open in two weeks, but her chef just walked out. Then a highly recommended replacement arrives, an impossibly handsome culinary genius who sends electric tingles racing through her body . . .

Except he can't cook. In fact, Cale hasn't eaten real food in two thousand years. Yet he's determined to prove to Alex his prowess in the kitchen . . . and elsewhere. Because never has he hungered so for any mortal woman. And not just for a taste of her, but for the whole delicious feast!
