Laid Bare by Lauren Dane

Laid Bare by Lauren Dane is another amazing read.  I love how she makes the characters so real.  This Book 1 in the Seattle/Brown Sibling Series.  I pretty much read these in absolutely the wrong order starting with number 2 Coming Undone then Inside out and finally Laid Bare.
This is a story of discovery & love.  This is the story of Todd Keenan, Erin Brown and Ben Copeland.  These characters are so vivid, so real, so magnetic in their portrayal that you can't help but be drawn along with them as they find, lose and then find themselves again.  Their story is compelling and the tragedy and pain they suffer along the way only makes them even more awesome.  They are all strong characters, strong, charismatic personalities that bring their story to life.  It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you want to physically pound on something and then pull them into your arms to hold.  I have loved all three of these books and I can't wait till the 4th books arrives some time in the fall of 2011.  I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys love, romance and conflict of a very personal nature.

Unexpected Desire…

It’s been ten years since clean-cut, sexy-as-hell police officer Todd Keenan had a white-hot fling with Erin Brown, the provocative, wild rocker chick next door. Their power exchange in the bedroom got under his skin. But love wasn’t in the cards just yet…

Now, life has thrown the pair back together. But picking up where they left off is tough, in light of a painful event from Erin’s past. As Todd struggles to earn her trust, their relationship takes an unexpected and exciting turn when Todd’s best friend, Ben, ends up in their bed—and all three are quite satisfied in this relationship without a name. As the passion they share transforms Erin, will it be enough to help her face the evil she thought she had left behind?
