Stolen Hearts by Karen Erickson

Stolen Hearts by Karen Ericson was a short, fun read that I really wished had more to it.  This was billed as a sequel to Virgin Jewels which I haven't read but really didn't need to to enjoy this story.  This was more like a vignette.  A really short story that covered all the bases but went by too fast.  I liked the characters and would really like knowing more about them.  A reformed jewel thief, a lovely jewelery store owner with a piece that has a history she knows nothing about.  A gang, pressure from a demanding parent and a sudden flash of connection between thief and store owner.  I would really have loved this to be longer and more detailed.  It was good, fun and a very nice read.  Worth the time to read.

Stolen Hearts
Stolen Hearts is a stand-alone sequel to Virgin Jewels. Celeste Anderson doesn't believe in love at first sight. She intends to marry someone with the same interests and financial aspirations and have a neat, orderly life. But there's something to be said for the thrill of the unknown — and when Alex enters her family jewelry store, her body decides it's more than ready for a few thrills. Desperate for his father's approval, ex-jewel thief Alex Moretti reluctantly agrees to steal an antique diamond bracelet from a tiny, ill-secured shop. No problem for a pro like Alex — until he meets Celeste. Now the only thing he's interested in stealing is her heart.
